The anti-bullying workshop last month, sponsored by the Inly Parents Group and hosted by Debbie Martin, proved a great opportunity to learn about the amorphous threat of cyber-bullying and more importantly, to hear ideas about keeping our kids safe, healthy and happy.

At the heart of our service learning curriculum at Inly School is Maria Montessori’s mandate to empower children to become agents of change, and our personal mission to create global citizens. The goal of the service work we do at all levels at Inly is to promote the development of lifelong lessons in empathy, hard work, and cultural awareness, while giving students a sense of belonging to a community.

Inly School will host a free screening, open to the public, of the film Waiting for “Superman” on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Meehan Family Arstbarn on the campus of the school.
